EXOTHERMIC SLEEVES   

Exochem exothermic sleeves are vacuum formed for iron and steel castings.  Exochem sleeves are manufactured with quality materials and engineered for maximum performance and safety with minimum risk.  Exochem offers three levels of exothermic riser sleeves.  A mild exothermic material that does not ignite and is used when an insulating sleeve is just not enough, a mild exothermic sleeve for when the metal needs to stay liquid longer, and a high exothermic product that adds heat to the metal for better feeding efficiency.  Exochem also offers and exothermic sleeve for manganese steel.

These exothermic sleeves can be custom made for your iron and steel risers with I.D.'s ranging up to 30".

ES:  Mild exothermic.  Slow ignition.  Burns at a slower rate than ESPX.  Used mainly for larger diameter sleeves.

ESPX:  High exothermic.  Fast ignition.  Fast rate of burn.  Used on inserts and smaller diameter risers.                                                                                                                 

D-15:  High exothermic.  Ignites fast.  Fast rate of burn.  For manganese steel.                    

Exochem manufactures a complete line of insert sleeves ranging from 1-3/4" inside dimensions through 6-3/4" inside dimensions.  These post insertable risers come standard with fire cracker cores and oil sand breaker cores per your specifications.

Exochem's unique spherical shape risers reduce metal weights 30% over cylindrical shapes.  Our spherical risers are available from 3" to 24" inside diameters.  These risers come with built in fire cracker cores, and 50% reduced contacts.
