INSULATING SLEEVES

Exochem insulating sleeves allow reduction of the riser  size and are engineered for efficient feeding.  Every  Exochem insulating sleeve offers durability during  handling, textured outside surfaces permitting key-in to  sand, no sand contamination at shake-out, minimum gas, no  smoke and no metal penetration, giving you a clean  strip  for the riser.

Insulating sleeves for steel risers (SNA) range up to  30"  in diameter, while sleeves for iron risers (LD)   range from 2" thru 12".

Exochem insulating sleeves can be manufactured in the  traditional shape of the straight, or can be made into  the neckdown shape, which will decrease the cleaning  time per casting since this type of shape can be  quickly  knocked off the casting.

Conventional straights and neckdowns are available in all of our materials.  We manufacture a full range in each shape.  Ceramic cloth filters are available upon request to help filter the metal and facilitate riser break off.
