DESCRIPTION:

Exochem manufactures refractory plugs encased in scale resistant stainless steel.  These plugs can be used individually or with a seating block to be installed into the ladle bottom.

Various refractory grades are available to accommodate operational requirements.  Our stirring unit is recommended for heavy service applications.  Exochem manufactures both internal and external exchange stirring units.  The external exchange plug can be manufactured with or without a refractory jacket.

Exochem Uniflow Stirring Units are manufactured in many sizes and shapes.  the units range from 6" in height to 23" and are encased in a refractory block that can be round or square.

Exochem Uniflow Stirring Units are equipped with the Patented Exochem Wear Indicator.  The indicator helps the operator to determine when the plug has reached its service limit.

The quality control department tests each component of the stirring unit at three specific points during the manufacturing process to ensure performance consistency.

PACKAGING:

The product is packaged 6-12 sets per pallet with poly-shrink wrapping.  Custom packaging is available upon request.
